OPERATION GREEN SHIRT, YELLOW RIBBON

Well, you might know, some liberals have been trying to start a "wear black every friday until the troops come home" movement. Rebekah had the idea to start a counter to that. One that would honor the troops AND their mission. Bloggers have been voting on the specifics of color/etc., at her blog, and it's official - green (preferably hunter green) shirt and yellow ribbon lapel/ribbon tied around your wrist. The green symbolizes Army green and support for our troops' mission. The yellow is the hope that our troops will come home safe and soon. Wear it every friday. It's simple. Everyone can get a green shirt and yellow ribbon, right?

Now it's time to take action. Spread the word! Please post about this on your blogs, but also tell people you know. I think we can really get this going!
