Well, This is an Interesting Development.

One of Saddam Hussein's trial defense lawyer has been found dead (click on the title of my post for the complete story.) Saadoun Sughaiyer al-Janabi, one of seven defense attorneys representing the former dictator, was kidnapped from his office Thursday night, a day after the first session of the trial. Hours later his body was found in the neighborhood of Ur, near his office. He died of two gunshots to the head.

The trial had already been adjourned until November 28th.

Now, I won't speculate on who did it, or why, but this is a little disconcerting, after all, this trial was supposed to be under tight security.

I just hope that all this doesn't interfere with justice. The people of Iraq deserve justice.
